TAWAU (April 8): Gree (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd, a subsidiary of KTS Group through its Tawau branch, has contributed split-type air conditioning units under the K-Tech brand to SJK (C) Sin Hwa Tawau.
The contribution was handed over by KTS Trading Sabah area operations manager Wong Kee Mee to the school, represented by kindergarten headmistress Lo Lee Yong.
Also present were Sabah area business development manager for Gree (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd Lucas Cho, and KTS Trading Tawau representative Chris Chan.
Wong said the contribution formed part of the company’s ongoing efforts to support educational infrastructure, particularly in creating a more comfortable and conducive learning environment.
“We hope this contribution will benefit the school community in the long term, while supporting efforts to enhance the quality of the learning environment,” he said.
The K-Tech brand, introduced by Keitec Group in 2023, has steadily gained consumer confidence, driven by its combination of high performance and modern manufacturing technology.
Among its features is an auto-restart function, allowing the unit to resume operation with previous settings following a power interruption.
The units are also equipped with low-temperature plasma technology for air sterilisation and filtration, as well as a self-diagnosis system to detect faults at an early stage.
Other features include a corrosion-resistant gold hydrophilic fin condenser, turbo mode with seven fan speed levels for rapid cooling, and a temperature display with screen control functionality.
The system also provides a filter cleaning reminder after 600 hours of operation, along with a six-year compressor warranty and a two-year general parts warranty.
