KUCHING, 16 Oct: International ranking Johan Qariah, Nur Syakura Mohamad Musa, wants to share knowledge and experience in order to produce a generation of laymen who can make Sarawak's name known in the field of Quran.
According to Nur Syakura, the experience gained during her involvement in the field of Qur'an expansion wanted to be used to guide more qariah in Sarawak.
"The next plan is to share existing knowledge and experience with the Quran spread clubs in Sarawak, insha Allah", he said when met after a visit of honour to Sarawak Premier, Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri Abang Johari Tun Openg here today.
Nur Syakur said that desire was among the topics discussed during the respectful visit.
In the meantime, he also said that the discussions were focused on efforts to produce the next generation capable of continuing Sarawak's excellence on the international stage.
Previously, Nur Syakura created success when Johan Qariah appeared at the International Ranking Tilawah and Hafazan Qur'an Council 66th Time 2026, thus banning Sarawak and Malaysia.
The achievement also caught the eye when he returned the qariah category championship to Sarawak after almost 19 years, since Allahyarhamah Amnah Ayup's victory in 2007.
"I hope that this success will inspire more young generations to immerse themselves in the art of Quranic expansion and continue Sarawak's legacy of excellence", he said. - TVS
