Global Education Centre to hold education fairs across S’wak from Jan 10-18

SIBU (Jan 8): Global Education Centre will be organising a series of education fairs statewide this month.

It said the fairs aim to provide students planning on pursuing further studies with a one-stop education consultation and scholarship assessment service.

“From Jan 10 to 18, the education fair will cover Kuching, Sibu, Bintulu and Miri. Most sessions will be held from 1pm to 5pm, making it convenient for students and working adults to attend,” it said.

In Miri, the education fair will be held at Imperial Palace Hotel on Jan 10; Bintulu Central in Bintulu on Jan 11; Sheraton Hotel in Kuching on Jan 17; and RH Hotel here on Jan 18.

The centre said the fairs will focus on introducing overseas and local study options for the 2026 intake.

“Students are encouraged to bring their actual or trial examination results, which will allow the counselling team to conduct more accurate course assessments and provide personalised study planning.

“Free scholarship assessments will also be available during the fair to help students identify suitable funding opportunities. In addition, other services such as course assessment, application guidance, travel and accommodation arrangement, and student visa processing are available during the fair,” it said.

The centre said it hoped that through the education fairs, students can gain a clearer insight into their academic profiles and future direction, enabling them to better prepare for their 2026 studies.
