KAPIT (Jan 4): Kapit Hospital received a heartening visit from the Persatuan Kebajikan Perniagaan Kapit-Song on New Year’s Day, bringing cheer to patients and expressing appreciation to healthcare workers on duty.
Led by its chairman, Kapitan Yiap Yii Hoo, the delegation distributed gifts to 85 patients and hospital staff.
The items were generously sponsored by members of the association.
The group was received by the hospital’s deputy director, Dr Gavin Yap, who commended the association for its charitable initiative.
Describing the visit as a “gift of love and care”, Dr Yap said the gesture would help uplift patients’ spirits as they recover.
The visit reflected the community’s continued support for Kapit Hospital and its frontline healthcare workers.
