Petra Energy unit secures RM298 mln Petronas Carigali contracts for Bintulu project

The contracts are for the provision of hook-up and commissioning services for the Bintulu Integrated Facilities (BIF) Rejuvenation Project Phase 2, with a total value of RM298 million.

KUALA LUMPUR (April 10): Petra Energy Bhd’s subsidiary, Petra Resources Sdn Bhd, has secured four work orders from Petronas Carigali Sdn Bhd.

The contracts are for the provision of hook-up and commissioning services for the Bintulu Integrated Facilities (BIF) Rejuvenation Project Phase 2, with a total value of RM298 million.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, Petra Energy said the details of the work orders include the provision for procurement, engineering activities and the construction and commissioning for the BIF project.

“The work orders are expected to contribute positively to the group’s earnings and net assets per share for the financial year ending Dec 31, 2026 and thereafter until the expiry of the contract,” it said. – Bernama
