Members of the public are also reminded to bring along their identification card (IC) for verification purposes on the day of the event.

Senior citizens aged 60 and above may utilise the Senior Citizen Health Benefit (SCHB) to cover the vaccination fee, subject to prior application and approval.

“This initiative aims to provide the public with affordable and accessible influenza vaccination, helping individuals and families better protect themselves against seasonal flu and its potential complications.

“Influenza vaccination plays an important role in preventing infection, reducing the risk of severe complications, and protecting not only individuals but also their families and the wider community.

“The organisers encourage the public to take proactive steps towards safeguarding their health through vaccination,” it said.

The programme will be held in collaboration with the Yayasan Pengguna Negara Malaysia (Sarawak Branch), Pertubuhan Kebajikan Pengguna Sarawak, and the Jalan Rock/Bampfylde village, security, and development committee (JKKK).
