SARIKEI, 7 Oct: DUN Dalat is among the areas that recorded the implementation of many projects under Delta Rajang Development Agency (RADDA), besides DUN Kuala Rajang, Meradong and Repok.
RADDA Chairman who is also Deputy Minister of Urban Planning, Land and Environmental Administration, Datuk Len Talif Salleh said that overall the implementation of 90 projects approved by the agency was at a satisfactory level and according to the planned schedule.
"Most of the projects are being implemented on schedule, while some are still in early stages including site-related matters and technical approvals.
"If we look at the entire RADDA project that has been approved, as many as 90 projects and some DUN areas like Dalat, Kuala Rajang, Meradong and Repok are implementing a lot of projects.
"Overall, in terms of schedule and implementation progress, I am satisfied with the development", he told media after finalising the Land Separation Council and Handing over Checks for the Spur Road Compass Project from Sare to Sentebu Road, Kinyau Hill, here today.
Len Talif said that some projects are still not fully started as they require site-related approval before construction work can be carried out.
He said the placement process should be completed in advance to ensure that each project can be carried out in an orderly manner and avoid problems when physical work is started.
He said that RADDA is constantly monitoring the development of projects under its supervision to ensure their implementation remains in line with the schedules and plans set.
"If there are any issues or things that require further action, we will try to resolve them so that the implementation of the project can go smoothly", he said. -TVS
