A 17-year-old missing in Kawa Stone has returned safely.

KUCHING, Sept 27: 17-year-old boy, Qayyum Mustaqim Abdullah who was reported missing in Batu Kawa, returned to his family safe this morning.

The head of the Padawan County Police, Superintendent Barry William said that the teenager returned home around 2:00 a.m., today.

According to him, the teenager's disappearance was reported through Batu Kawa before the allegations were made on social media yesterday.

"The Padawan District Police recorded their appreciation and thanks to all parties involved directly or indirectly in helping to create a stunt to track down the teenager.

"Qayyum Mustaqim has now returned home and is safe", he said in a statement today.

Police also appreciated the public's cooperation in spreading information about the missing teenager until he was finally found and returned to his family.
