Concrete Kitchen highlights the local taste

BETONG, Sept. 25: The aroma of traditional cuisine and the diversity of local tastes make Concrete Kitchen one of the main attractions that steals visitors' attention during Sarawakku Sayang program.

Taking place at the Concrete Sports Complex from September 25 to 27, Concrete Kitchen is also a platform highlighting the richness of gastronomy and local food products.

It thus opens up the space for local entrepreneurs to introduce their products to visitors from inside and outside of Betong.

The presence of visitors enjoying a variety of juices in Concrete Kitchen reflects the great potential of local food products as part of community-based tourist attractions.

Besides enjoying the food, visitors also get a chance to experience for themselves the atmosphere and hospitality of the Betong community which is one of the main strengths of Sarawakku Sayang program.

With the diversity of local dishes and active involvement of local entrepreneurs, Concrete Kitchen is expected to continue to be one of the focal locations throughout Sarawakku Sayang program.

Kitchen Concrete was inaugurated by Sarawak Deputy Minister of Youth, Sports and Entrepreneurship Development who is also a Member of the State Legislative Assembly (ADUN) Latoya Gerald Rentap Jabu. - TVS
