DUN Sarawak will close its 19th holiday next month

KUCHING, Sept. 22: The session of the Sarawak State Legislative Assembly (DUN) scheduled to take place from October 12 to 21 is expected to be the last for the 19th session.

DUN Sarawak Speaker, Tan Sri Datuk Amar Mohamad Asfia Awang Nassar said that progress related to the conference will be announced through a press conference scheduled to be held before the conference begins.

"The upcoming 19th Sarawak DUN conference is expected to be the last for the current deadline before the end of the DUN period", he said as he was met by media at the closing ceremony of Seminar Aku Kasih Malaysia: Sarawak State Youth Leaders in Kuching on Tuesday.

According to him, any developments regarding the agenda and bills that will be presented are expected to be made clearer through the press conference.

"My office has not received any bills from the government, yet", he said.
