MIRI: A one-foot-long juvenile crocodile was discovered at Esplanade beach here on Sunday, shocking beachgoers.
The juvenile crocodile was spotted hiding behind a public toilet, believed to have crawled onto the beach.
It was discovered by a beachgoer on his way to the toilet.
He immediately alerted the Baywatch team at the nearby area.
Meanwhile a team from the Miri Civil Defence Force (APM) was also mobilised to the scene after receiving a distressed call at 5.38 pm.
The juvenile crocodile was safely removed from the area.
