KUCHING (April 4): A man sustained injuries to his right shoulder after his car collided with a lorry at Mile 12 Jalan Kuching-Serian here on Saturday.
The Sarawak Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba) dispatched a team from the Siburan fire station after receiving a distress call at 6.46am.
“The incident involved a three-tonne lorry and a hatchback.
“No injuries were reported to the lorry driver. However, the hatchback driver sustained injuries to his right shoulder and was extricated by members of the public prior to the arrival of Bomba rescuers,” Bomba said.
Bomba personnel carried out cleanup works before ending the operation at 7.35am.
