Bomba personnel working to extricate the victims from the wreckage.
KUCHING (April 3): A man was killed while another was seriously injured after their vehicle crashed at Mile 7 Jalan Kuching–Serian early this morning.
The Sarawak Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba) dispatched a team from the Kota Sentosa fire station after receiving a distress call at 4.26am.
“The incident involved a single sedan that crashed by the roadside.
“One victim was extricated by members of the public, while the other was pinned to his seat,” Bomba said.
Rescuers managed to extricate the trapped victim; however, he was pronounced dead at the scene.
The body was handed over to the police for further action.
The operation ended at 5.43am.
