The Prime Minister witnessed the test landing at STOLport Bay

SPAOH, 26 September: Sarawak Premier, High Commissioner Tan Sri Abamg Johari Tun Openg today witnessed the test landing of the Beechcraft B300 King Air 350i aircraft owned by Hornbill Skyways at STOLport Bebuling.

The plane arrived at about 4.15 pm from Kuching International Airport (LTAK).

Previously the test landing at STOLport took place on September 18th.

STOLport Bebuling started construction on 18 March 2021 and was fully completed on 18 July.

The runway at STOLport Bebuling is suitable for landing aircraft such as the DHC 6 Twin Otter, Cessna 208 (Caravan), Beechcraft King Air 350i, Cessna 408 (Sky Courier) and Eurocopter EC225.

Operations at STOLport Bebuling are expected to begin for flights in the second quarter of next year.

Earlier, the Prime Minister of Sarawak visited Bebuling Agropark and the Centre for Collection, Processing and Packaging (CPPC) Spaoh.-TVS
