ADVERTISE HERE
MIRI, Sept. 25: A group of young people are forced to venture into entrepreneurship through part-time businesses in order to earn extra income.
Dato Sri Lee Kim Shin, a member of the Adun State Senate (ADUN) said that engaging young people in sales activities to celebrate the Moon Rising Festival could be a platform for them to develop creativity and generate income.
"There are 25 stalls here, and all of these stall managers are young people.
"I want to encourage them to strive to become entrepreneurs and run this kind of business as a part-time or part-time job that can provide additional income", he said when met at the Mid-Autumn Escape Plan Market organised by the United People's Party Sarawak (SUPP) Youth Movement SUPP Senadin Branch here, last night.
He explained that youth involvement in such entrepreneurial activities should be encouraged as it gives them space to focus on their creativity.
"This is what we want to encourage so that more young people can showcase their creativity and at the same time help them earn extra income", she said. - TVS
