Man injured after car skids off road in Jalan Kampung Bako Lot

KUCHING (April 4): A man was injured after his car skidded off the road at Jalan Kampung Bako Lot around midnight on Saturday.

The Sarawak Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba) dispatched a team from the Tabuan Jaya fire station after receiving a distress call at 12.10am.

“The incident involved a car that had skidded onto the roadside.

“The victim was found inside the vehicle and was not pinned. However, he sustained head injuries and was unable to move,” Bomba said.

The rescue team then stabilised the victim using a cervical collar before removing him from the vehicle.

The victim was handed over to paramedics for medical treatment.

The operation ended at 12.48am.
