According to a report by Sarawak Public Communications Unit (UKAS), the zakat funds will be managed by TBS before being distributed to eligible recipients, including the poor, hardcore poor and other qualified asnaf groups.
BDA was represented by its deputy chairman Dato Haidar Khan Asghar Khan, general manager Datu Muhamad Yakup Kari, members of its board, and senior management team.
Representing TBS were Sarawak Islamic Council (MIS) president Datuk Misnu Taha, acting TBS general manager Iskandar Allan, TBS Operations Sector chief Mohd Yusree Mohd Zain, TBS Communications Division head Mohd Huzaid Husaini, and acting TBS Promotion and Dakwah Division head Mohd Nazir Kiprawi.
